Speaker bio:

Wojciech Wodo is research assistant at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology in Computer Science Department, he also submitted PhD dissertation on biometry usage in computer security issues (2018). Mr. Wodo is graduate of special Top 500 Innovators program at Haas School of Business UC Berkeley (2012), focused on team management, technology transfer, commercialization and business and academia cooperation. Wojciech Wodo has gathered his experience during work in Wroclaw Research Center EIT + in 2011 as a technology transfer specialist and as a vice-president of Manus Foundation (2011-2017), where he was responsible for academic entrepreneurship and business development. Mr. Wodo has also experience as a public speaker – TEDx events, international conferences and as a judge and mentor in international contests like ClimateLaunchpad or NASA App Challenge.

Description:

During this training you will get knowledge about business oriented approach to following three main areas:

  • Start-up Development
  • Minimum Viable Product
  • Innovation Management

We will discuss issues associated with buzz word “start-up”, we will try to build our own definition and work around it, we are going to explore some concepts for growing the company having only limited resources. The most desired skills of every leader will be elaborated and effective team work methods.

You will learn about concept of MVP – Minimum Viable Product and how to use it in practice in order to speed up your projects and get as much feedback as possible. Few essential concepts of preparing new products and services will be discussed.

At the training we will dive into innovations world, we are going to clarify discrepancies among sorts of innovations and will focus on three main branches and discuss terms and conditions in which they could flourish. Also the idea of Open Innovation will be presented .
