Statement of the Organizing Committee on holding the conference in 2025

Dear Colleagues!

Despite the war in Ukraine, the Organizing Committee continues its work and begins preparations for the 5th International Scientific Conference “Chemical Technology and Engineering” to be held on June 23-26, 2025.

We wholeheartedly believe in Ukraine’s imminent victory, but understanding the feelings of foreign participants, we are now announcing the event in a hybrid format ‒ in person, offline, and in a distance mode, online, using the ZOOM software.

We would like to remind and emphasize that in view of the numerous crimes committed by the russian occupation forces (https://bit.ly/3xG7jo2), the support of the war in Ukraine by russian scientists (https://bit.ly/3wyLeaC) and the assistance of belarus, iran and north korea to the russian invasion of Ukraine, authors and co-authors from russia, belarus, iran and north korea are not allowed to participate in the conference. Ukrainian scholars called on the russians to say a categorical “NO” to this terrible war, but their appeals (https://bit.ly/3uoRMpp, https://bit.ly/3Dbll1Q) were ignored.

As in 2023, we are once again announcing free participation in a distance mode for scientists from institutions of Eastern Ukraine located in the territories affected by russian aggression.

We are delighted to welcome the new co-organizer of the conference ‒ The Nice Institute of Chemistry, Université Côte d’Azur, France! We also warmly greet all new members of the Conference Program Committee international community!

As for the conference program, traditionally, distinguished world scientists will make plenary presentations covering various areas and branches of chemistry, chemical technology and engineering ‒ follow the first announcements soon!

In addition to plenary sessions, the conference program will include sections:

  • Computer modeling in chemical technology and engineering
  • Development, energy and resource saving in chemical and food technologies
  • Innovative and nanotechnologies in the chemical and food industries
  • Optimization of biochemical processes and bioengineering
  • Green chemistry
  • Alternative and unconventional energy sources
  • Ecology and sustainable development. Environmental protection

We will also hold trainings – our traditional “Young Chemists’ School” and a new educational event “R&I lab”.

The deadlines for registration of participants and submission of materials are as follows:

  • Submission of registration applications and abstracts ‒ February 17, 2025
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts ‒ March 10, 2025
  • Payment of the registration fee by registered participants ‒ March 31, 2025

The registration fee for participants will be accordingly:

Due to the unpredictable financial situation in Ukraine, the registration fee published above does not include the cost of the participants’ social dinners.

We strictly adhere to the principles of Open Science and Open Access. Registration of participants, acceptance of conference materials, and review of conference materials will now be organized using the new online review system “Peers” (https://peers.international).

Conference materials will be published online in PDF format. The collection of abstracts will have an ISSN number, each article will be published online and will have a DOI number.

Based on the results of the conference, participants will be invited to submit extended versions of their articles for publication in a collective monograph.

The Organizing Committee will inform you about all changes through newsletters on the conference website (http://cte.org.ua), Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cte.org.ua), our new LinkedIn page (https://www.linkedin.com/company/chemical-technology-and-engineering) and Telegram channel (t.me/cte_conference).

We believe in the victory and liberation of Ukraine from the russian invaders and hope to see you at our conference soon!
