Dear Сolleagues,
Despite the difficult challenges and the war in Ukraine, the Organizing Committee continues its work and begins preparations for the 6th International Scientific Conference “Chemical Technology and Engineering – 2027”, which will be held on June 21-24, 2027.
We wholeheartedly believe in the swift victory of Ukraine. However, realizing the current situation and caring for the safety of the participants, we announce the event in a hybrid format: in-person (offline) at Lviv Polytechnic National University and remotely (online) via ZOOM software.
We remind and emphasize that due to the numerous crimes of the russian occupation forces and support for the aggression, authors and co-authors from russia, belarus, iran, and north korea are strictly not allowed to participate in the conference.
We continue to support our colleagues: participation for scientists from institutions in the East and South of Ukraine, located in territories affected by russian aggression, remains free of charge in the remote format.
We are honored to welcome the new co-organizers of the conference – the Department of Chemical Engineering of Sumy State University (Sumy, Ukraine)! We also sincerely welcome all new members of the international community to the Program Committee of the conference.
Regarding the conference program, prominent global scientists will traditionally deliver plenary presentations covering various areas of chemical technology and engineering. In addition to plenary sessions, the following sections will be held:
- Computer simulation in the chemical technology and engineering
- Development, energy and resource saving in the chemical and food technologies
- Innovations, nanotechnologies, and catalysis in the chemical and food industries
- Optimization of biochemical processes and bioengineering
- Green chemistry
- Alternative and non-conventional energy sources
- Ecology and sustainable development. Environmental protection
The program also includes training sessions – our traditional “Young Chemist’s School” for early-career researchers and a large-scale workshop (R&D Lab), which will be held under the auspices of the Horizon Europe project INITIATE INITIATE, where participants will be able to familiarize themselves with advanced approaches to research and development. All participants of the training sessions will receive additional certificates of participation.
Important dates:
- Submission of registration applications and abstracts – by February 22, 2027
- Notification of acceptance or rejection of submitted abstracts – by April 26, 2027
- Payment of the registration fee by registered participants – by May 10, 2027
Considering the challenging times for science in Ukraine and understanding the importance of exchanging thoughts and ideas, we are keeping the participation fees at the level of the previous conference.
The registration fee for participants will be as follows:
- Participants from Ukraine: 800 UAH
- Young scientists (up to 35 years old) and PhD students from Ukraine: 500 UAH
- Participants from institutions in the East and South of Ukraine (in affected territories): free of charge (in online mode)
- Foreign participants: 90 EUR
- Foreign young scientists (up to 35 years old) and PhD students: 60 EUR
- Promotional presentation for companies from Ukraine: 2500 UAH
- Promotional presentation for foreign companies: 250 EUR
The registration fee covers participation in the conference, publication of abstracts in the conference materials (proceedings), access to all events, general organizational expenses, coffee breaks, and a participant certificate (in PDF format). Due to the unpredictability of the financial situation, the published fee does not include the expenses for the conference friendly dinner.
We strictly adhere to the principles of Open Science and Open Access. Registration of participants and submission of materials are organized via the online peer-review system “Peers” (https://peers.international). The Proceedings will have an ISSN number (2664-1275), each paper will be published online in open access and assigned a DOI. Based on the conference results, participants will also be invited to submit extended versions of their abstracts for publication in a collective monograph.
The Organizing Committee will inform you of any changes on the conference website (https://cte.org.ua), Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/cte.org.ua), and LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/company/chemical-technology-and-engineering).
We believe in the victory and liberation of Ukraine, and we hope to see you in person at our conference soon!
Sincerely,
the Organizing Committee
